Referrals – Mr Lloyd runs consulting sessions in his private rooms at 56 Elphin Road Launceston for both public and private patients (consulting fees apply). Please fax referrals for appointments in the private rooms to 6331 1117.
David also sees patients at the Launceston General Hospital Specialist Clinic (free clinic). For appointments at the LGH Specialist Clinic please fax referrals to 6348 7197.
A triage system is used for referrals for both private and public consulting. Please be sure to fax the referral to the clinic in which you want your patient to be seen.
We also offer an “Open Access” colonoscopy service for the private sector. Once the referral letter has been viewed and the case is deemed appropriate for an open access colonoscopy, the patient will be offered a choice of either seeing David for a consult in the rooms or being directly admitted to St Vincent’s Hospital where they will be seen by David and an informed consent will be obtained just prior to the procedure.
